FAQs

Location

Intro paragraph (why location is important): Location matters when it comes to student living. Being close to campus, shopping, entertainment, and transportation makes everyday life easier, saves time, and enhances your college experience.

Proximity to campus

When choosing a student apartment, location is one of the biggest factors. Living close to campus saves you time, reduces transportation costs, and makes it easier to stay engaged with student life. You’ll also want to consider proximity to grocery stores, parks, and entertainment for a well-rounded lifestyle.

The Towns at Octiv Row is ideally located just across the street from the University of West Georgia campus on the east side. You can walk to class, grab a quick bite nearby, and enjoy easy access to the heart of Carrollton.

Transportation

Transportation is another key part of student living. Apartments close to reliable transit options make it easier to commute to class, run errands, and get around town.

At The Towns, you’re just steps from UWG’s shuttle system, which connects you not only to campus but also to popular Carrollton destinations like Walmart, Kroger, and Adamson Square.

Parks, Shopping, & Entertainment

The best student apartments are close to more than just campus—they also keep you near the things that make college life fun. Having parks, shops, and entertainment nearby means you’ll always have options to relax, explore, and enjoy time with friends.

At The Towns, you’re just minutes from local favorites. Take a study break at Laura’s Park at Hays Mill Trailhead (4 minutes away), pick up essentials at Target (8 minutes away), or enjoy live concerts at The AMP (5 minutes away).

Picking the Right Apartment

Choosing the right student apartment involves considering your lifestyle, budget, and needs. The right choice balances comfort, convenience, and community.

Shared or Private Rooms

When looking for a student apartment, consider whether you want a shared or private bedroom. Shared rooms may be more affordable, but private rooms give you more space, privacy, and comfort.

Paragraph: At The Towns at Octiv Row, every resident enjoys a large private bedroom, ensuring you always have a quiet space to recharge after class.

Furnished or Unfurnished

Choosing between a furnished or unfurnished apartment can impact both your budget and your move-in experience. Furnished apartments are move-in ready, while unfurnished units give you more control over your space.

Our apartments come fully furnished, making your transition simple and stress-free—just bring your personal items and settle in.

Apartment Amenities

Apartment features play a big role in everyday comfort. In-unit laundry, guest-friendly spaces, and outdoor access are worth considering when making your choice.

At The Towns, each apartment includes on-site parking, a guest half-bath, a private porch, and a full-size front-load washer & dryer.

Pet Policy

If you have a pet, make sure your apartment’s pet policy is a good fit. Some apartments have strict restrictions, while others are pet-friendly.

At The Towns, pets are welcome! Current lease terms include a $250 pet fee and $25/month pet rent. For 2023/2024, the pet fee is $300 with $30/month pet rent. Contact our office for full details.

Security

Safety and peace of mind should always be a priority. Look for properties that provide secure access and resident-focused protections.

We offer locks on each bedroom and double locks on main entry doors for an added layer of security.

Parking

Parking is another key factor to consider—look for availability, cost, and guest policies.

The Towns provides ample free parking for residents and guests, with spaces just steps from your front door.
